Timeline.

Week 1- Technical.

Week 1- Interpretive

Dynamics- Gained a full understanding of each of the 6 dynamics and how to execute them.

Flexibility- In week one I want to be able to sit in the pike position for 20 seconds. Pulling my head to my knees.

Week 2- Interpretive

Dynamics- In week two I want to perform a piece of previously taught choreography (my drama school dance solo) and film it. 

Week 2- Technical.

Flexibility- In week two I want to be able to touch my toes with completely straight legs.

Cardiovascular Endurance- Complete a 2 minute 45 second minute HIIT workout without stopping.

Ankle Strength- Be able to hold a rise for 15 seconds on each leg.

Week 3- Interpretive

Dynamics- Be able to demonstrate powerful dynamics with movement to show power and control.

Week 3- Technical.

Flexibility- In week three I want to be 2 inches closer in each split from my current starting point.

Cardiovascular Endurance- Be able to complete a 3 minute HIIT workout without stopping.

Ankle Strength- Be able to hold a rise in pirouette position for a count of 8 without lowering the heel.

Week 4- Interpretive

Dynamics- In week 4 I will work on the use of fluidity in my movements by watching videos and experimenting. This will mean there will be a significant contrast in my movements.

Facial Expressions- Be able to carry out facial stretches and massages from research to help with more animated facial expressions.

Vocal Phrasing- I need to have a full understanding of vocal phrasing. I will have started to apply the techniques to my audition material and filmed it.

Week 4- Technical.

Flexibility- In week four I want to be able to get my head fully to be knee when sat in straddle and pike position.

Cardiovascular Endurance- Increase HIIT workout to 3 minutes 15 seconds without stopping.

Ankle Strength- Be able to hold a pirouette position on a rise for 20 seconds.

Additional Check point- Week 4

I am attending an audition this week. I will use this as an opportunity to test my flexibility in corner work and new stretches.

I will want to achieve all of the cardio warm up to a high standard, ssetting a good impression. 

Additional Checkpoint- Week 4

I will use my audition this week to assess how I apply the use of dynamics under pressure and with no prior knowledge of the music and choreography. 

I will also assess how connected I felt to my character when delivering my monologues and how I use my facial expressions on the spot.

Week 5- Interpretive

Dynamics- In week five I will work to build adding all of the skills and techniques I have learned to create smooth transitions between the changes in dynamic.

Facial Expressions- I want to perform a dance routine, thinking about the character and how facial expressions to add to a performance to engage an audience.

Vocal Phrasing- I will have performed my audition pieces applying all the techniques I have learned through research and watching professionals. I need to show a deeper connection to the characters.

Week 5- Technical.

Flexibility- In week five I want to have both of my kicks at a 120-degree angle.

Cardiovascular Endurance- Be able to increase HIIT workout to 3 minutes 30 seconds. Be able sing through a whole song whilst completing the workout, without stopping.

Ankle Strength- I want to be able to hold a pirouette position without holding on to anything without hoping, using the same exercise from week 3.

Week 6- Interpretive

Dynamics- In week six I will reperform the same routine from a previous week. Comparing both videos will hopefully show a clear improvement in both the understanding and execution of dynamics and more control of my movement.

Facial Expressions- I will film my monologues including the techniques I have learned. This will clearly demonstrate if I can transfer what I have been applying in dance to my acting.

Vocal Phrasing- Perform a new song once before the addition of any extra vocal phrasing techniques then again directly after including everything I have learned to demonstrate the skills I have inhabited since training this skill.

Week 6- Technical.

Flexibility- In week 6 I want to 4 inches closer to my left and box split than my starting point. I also want to be flat in my right leg split. 

Cardiovascular Endurance- I want to be able to increase my HIIT workout to 3 minutes 45 seconds whilst singing without stopping.

Ankle Strength- I want to be able to hold the relive on each leg for 25 seconds. I also want to be able to hold a rise not holding on to anything for 40 seconds.
